This website is a static informational website. It does not provide any user registration, login, online payment or online application facility. It does not collect, store, process or share personal information, and it sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. External links open third-party websites which are governed by their own privacy policies. If a future version of this website collects any personal information through a form, a privacy notice stating the purpose of collection, the intended use and the retention period will need to be published before such a form is made available.

Text on this website reproduces statutory material of the Government of Assam (the Kamatapur Autonomous Council Act, 2020 and the Kamatapur Autonomous Council (Amendment) Act, 2020) and summarises publicly reported information with attribution. No third-party photographs, emblems or logos have been reproduced. When the website is published officially, the footer should be updated to read “© Kamatapur Autonomous Council, Government of Assam” together with the year of publication, and a content licence should be stated if Government of Assam policy requires one.

The following accessibility features are provided: a skip-to-main-content link; semantic HTML5 landmarks and heading
structure; a text-size control (A− / A / A+); visible keyboard focus outlines; navigation operable by keyboard with
the mobile menu exposed as an expandable button with aria-expanded; descriptive alternative text on images,
with the emblem placeholder labelled for assistive technology; tables with header cells and captions; and a responsive
layout that remains readable when zoomed and on small screens. The site is designed to be usable without JavaScript to the
extent that the main informational content is present in the HTML source. Accessibility should be tested against the
Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA before official publication, including a check
for colour contrast on the navy navigation and an audit of any images added later.
Content Maintenance
- Re-verify all personal names against the latest Government notification before publishing.
- Add official notices only from the Council or a Government of Assam source, and mark new items with the NEW badge.
- Keep a source link for every factual entry, and record the date of verification.
