No verified scheme details could be published at the time of compilation. The Council’s schemes, their eligibility criteria, benefits, application procedure and required documents must be taken from the Council’s own published orders or from the responsible Government of Assam department. No scheme has been described here on the basis of assumption or secondary reporting.

State Government schemes implemented in the Council area
Certain State Government schemes are implemented in the districts falling within the Council area, including the Chief Minister’s special bicycle distribution scheme, under which a distribution programme was inaugurated at Chapar Higher Secondary School, Dhubri district, in December 2025/January 2026.

Institutional initiatives
On 16 February 2026, Bongaigaon University and the Kamatapur Autonomous Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Koch Rajbongshi Research Centre at the university, for research, documentation and publication on the history, culture and socio-political life of the Koch Rajbongshi community.
